My CBTL FAMILY DAY

As a teacher I only have Saturday and Sunday to be with my family and friends. Belle De Jour Power Planner gives me all the perks that I need to have them every weekends.

This day was special because I had everybody enjoyed what I and my son are enjoying all these years with CBTL and these pictures tell story of how they bring happiness even just for a day.

The Skin Bureau - A Promising Beauty Care within Your Reach

I am so allergic to almost everything... I am too sensitive to almost everything I put on my face too. Sad to say I am not that blessed with such normal condition....

Luckily, I was one of the blessed to be invited to witness The Skin Buraeu's official launching at Imerex Plaza Hotel Angeles, Pampanga ( I was so blessed that day I didn't close my eye to appreciate everything on our way there! I was my first time to go to Angeles!)  last June 17, 2017 through the good heart of Sir KG (Definietely an amazing person!) Jeffrey Geronimo, The Founder  (You must meet him personally! He is so awesome!) welcomed us and introduced to us something that is promising to every age and to every kind of skin and skin conditions... In other words their products are for everyone!  The event was graced by our famous v/bloggers, beauty queens who had given us their insights and their own experience of using of the The Skin Bureau products. I was like jumping for joy when I saw Ana Cay in front of us. She shared her secrets on how to take good care of our skin using The Skin Bureau products too. 

What more awesome this day was that we were given a set of products to try them at home.

That Scrumptious Paellas - The Ditto's Paellas

This was the first time that I had seen such watering paella in my life! 

And this was from Ditto!

Eduardo "Ditto" Lesaca got his recipes from his grandfather from his mother, "Carmen". And so it means that every paella that he cooks is not a commercial thing. He wants us to have the best paellas that they had been enjoying  in their  family for years... We are talking about "sharing such wonderful blessings through these comfort food.... soul food. With such everything on them that you really want to have in a paella serving, these are really soul food!

Ditto's Paella Valenciana

His Paella Valenciana is something that you should have on your table when you have your family gathering day. It is not the typical Valenciana that you have in restaurants . Expect lots of prawns, squids, chicken, chorizo together with that hefty flavorful rice and vegetables. If you hate burned rice in your Valenciana, I am pretty sure this one is going to be a hit on your taste bud. Best to have this with a red wine by your side.

Ditto's Negra

I love this! I really had fun having this! It got lots of chunks of squids and prawns, which are my favorite. The chorizo slices in it balance everything when you have them with a serving of his special sauce. It was one of the most amazing rice dishes I ever had. (except from my mom's of course) 

I had that fortunate moment to be included in such lovely night to taste Eduardo "Ditto" Lesaca's Paellas and  I want you to have that kind of feast too together with your loved ones. And so I suggest that you should try them too.

Yoshinoya - Something beyond My Japanese Dining Experience

I am always blessed with few good friends... They are very few but really good friends... and that includes my good friend Cha Sy. I was so happy that time when she personally invited me and my son (who... which was not available) in one of the most prestigious and most awaited event in the Philippines - The Ms. Earth 2017 as they go around the most awesome place here in Manila. One of these is in the Yoshinoya.



Yoshinoya is one of the popular Japanese Fast Food and is said to be the largest chain of gyudon restaurant. Its motto is "Tasty, low-priced, and quick". 



This was my first time to visit this Japanese fast food restaurant. I was too early for the event that day by 2:30pm. But even without anything to order or saying of something, they welcome me with such sweetness and ask me where do I want to sit. And when my other fellow social colleagues arrived, they served us such mouthwatering kani salad with sweet and tangy mango bits drizzled with rich and creamy Japanese mayonnaise and their famous red tea. after that salad we were asked if there is something we would like to have on our table... I said, "I am not yet familiar of what you have... My I have the best on your menu...  as in please surprise me..."



They got me this in less than 10 minutes... That was really fast!



The verdict? This is really something that you would  not expect in a fast food restaurant... THIS IS REALLY SOMETHING BEYOND IT... The meat they served was really full of flavor... tender... the the overall rating was really something you can have in a fine dine in restaurant... (Yes, I do go to fine dine in restaurant you may think I am going crazy but actually they almost the same distinct flavor.) The vegetable  served on my plate was cooked right... (I could really live eating this side dish eating this)... The ebi tempura was good but I love the beef one most!



Next to this was a bowl of ramen... It was huge! I think it is good for 3 persons... the noodles is something you can compare to an expensive ramen triple the price. The whole bowl of beef, corn kernels, egg and more was a real comfort food for me... You should have this when you are not feeling well... It is a good comforting indeed!



This is really something beyond my Japanese Dining Experience that really made my day... I would really... definitely going to comeback again in here and when I comeback, I would have my family with me... have then convince that in Yoshinoya you can have that quick... tasty Japanese thingy in a low price... very much favorable for everyone indeed!
