It's been every girl's dream to become a ballet dancer wearing those adorable tutus and ballet shoes. I remember when I was a little girl looking at myself in the mirror and wondering what it would be like to dance ballet. It was also then when the musical jewelry box was a hit because of that ballet girl dancing on top. And now that I'm a mom I see how my girls love seeing ballet dancers and pretending to be like them!
The story of ballet started in the 15th Century Italian Renaissance Courts and later on flourished in France and Russia into a concert dance form. Ballet became a foundation of other dance genres because of its popularity all over the world.
