I was dreaming of having a relaxing day without any worries of the busy Manila but last July 16, 2016, I was chosen to take part in the 4th Farm Tourism Conference which held at Paradizoo in Cavite and Residence Inn in Tagaytay own by the ever generous Mr. Robert L. Yupangco of Zoomanity Group. This was my first out of town event and I really had the time of my life here through the kindess of Tag Media and Zoomanity Group. They made my dream came true...
PARADIZOO...
Paradizoo is a huge Farm Theme Park estimating of 10 hectares agricultural farm, which comes lots of animal we can interact with and of course, with such great services and touring around. We were welcomed by Mr. Robert L. Yupangco, himself giving us the warmest facts about the Farm Theme Park Paradizoo... After that warm welcome, we began our journey to know everything well in Paradizoo...
I love the feeding farm part. There are plenty of animals in this part where you can actually feed by hand. They have floppy rabbits in there own cute community. They have lots of poultry and birds, which amazingly comes whenever the animal caretaker whistles. Aside from those mentioned they also have miniature horses, ostriches, belly pigs, sheep, donkeys, guinea pigs too and from afarthey have camels, huge horses, goats, and cows. Paradizoo owns this 5 leg cow, which I found so friendly. They have a sheering station for the sheep. It brought a kid within me, fascinating with animals that can be pet... The close encounter with the animals educated me alot. It relaxed me. I was good to know that certain kinds of animals trust people.
Proceeding to the garden amazed me more! They have lots of flowers! The landscape is a wow for me. Lots of colors play as the wind dances with every flower. I never seen such beautiful flowers bloom well. They also have a bonsai garden, which showcases different kinds of plants or trees being dwarfed from grafting or from seedling. There is also a huge land for cultivating vegetables and fruits and everything are grown from without synthetic fertilizer. Well, they lots of animals around which poops... their poops and other decomposing matter like leaves are being made into compost. Then this becomes a natural fertilizer which makes every vegetable and fruit ORGANIC. One of the activities you would enjoy here is the experience of harvesting pineapples and vegetables... I should try this when I get back with my family.
Aside from the first mentioned places, they have this butterfly haven. It is such a wonderful place where you can actually stand there and let the butterflies come and touch you. Beautiful butterflies, big and small, roam around in an enclosed garden with lots of flowers. You can imagine yourself in an enchanted garden in that place.
My favorite part of Paradizoo is the place where they extract organic honey... Yes it is organic because they collect nectars from organic grown flowers. The bee keeper gave us a very detailed facts about bees and bee farming and demonstrated how to harvest honey. Do you know that the sweetness of the honey varies from the nectar they are collecting? Do you know the darker the honey the better and the healthier? If I have 10k that day i would put that for my own BEE FARM...
After the tour, we were gathered again and Mr. Robert Yupangco gave us one of the most inspiring talk I have heard. I see him as a very generous man who wants to help everyone...
Paradizoo is a perfect getaway from the smug and smoke we inhaled from the stressful days we are everyday in the city. Nature and God's graces are the best for healing and so I look forward to come again here. If i would be here everyday, I think my life would be healthier and longer..
Next Stop was in Residence Inn in Tagaytay. We were very fortunate to eat with Mr. Robert Yupangco. While we were eating such wonderful meryenda, he talked about some projects they are currently working in and we are included in that projects where everyone involves are winners. After such sumptuous meryenda, we had fun roaming around. The sight that day was very captivating and so relaxing indeed. We get to ride the zip line. I really had an awesome time here! It was my first time to ride a zip line and I was alone... all by myself. It was not that scary as I imagined it first.
Like in Paradizoo, there plenty of animals here to pet and to be amazed with.... There lots of monkeys, birds, snakes, horses, sheep, goats tigers and lions... Some animals in here are domesticated you can actually interact and play with them in the help of their caretakers. Most of the zoo places that I have been have this huge signage DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS. In here you you can feed them by hand. They are very friendly...
I can't get enough of everything here, I promise to comeback as soon as possible and this time with my whole family...
Thank you for everything Mr. Robert L. Yupangco and Ms. Grace B. Nicholas for everything.
