Asian Aesthetic Center: Freeze and Melt Fat Away Permanently

Image may contain: one or more people and text
Is it possible to freeze and melt fat away? This is one big question that we attempt to solve but first we must understand how body fat functions in our body.
Image may contain: text
Body fat as defined in many books is categorized as adipose tissue which is a normal component of the human body. Its primary purpose is to store energy in the form of fat that is then needed for metabolic functions within the body. However, having excess body fat can be physiologically harmful and at the same time can negatively affect one’s appearance. Thus the idea of the possibility to melt fat away comes to mind when all else failed.

Can body fat be destroyed?
Unfortunately, fat cells are indestructible since our body has a constant number of fat cells that will remain in our lifetime. However, fat cells can be reduced or shrink in size through various methods like freeze and melt fat away.

You see, when people lose weight their fat cells are also reduce in size but the body will signal the need to rebuild the shrunken fat cells thus the tendency to gain more weight after slimming down is higher. This is when frustration about getting rid of body fat comes into place. This is when most people would give up the fight against being overweight and obesity. However, there is a way to melt fat away through an effective method that Asian Aesthetic Center can best provide.

I Have To Change My Lifestyle - That Sweet Escape 2017

My mom died last January 10, 2017 due to complication from diabetes. She had developed Type 2 Diabetes six years ago. Our family is a family of great food adventurers due to my mom's out of this world dishes called "Sinalbahe". Most of these dishes and desserts she used to cooked were too high in sugar. In other words, I grew up eating most in my diet of sugar based food. But being invited to come for the Sweet Escape 2017 made me realized that I have to change my lifestyle.

Last August 18, 2017, Starmall Alabang, Muntinlupa City, FAME (Friendly alliance and Media Expressions) Inc. the publisher of DiabetEASE Magazine, held such a marvelous an annual event promoting the awareness of fellow Filipinos on the risks factors and prevention of diabetes and other chronic diseases which is associated within -- The Sweet Escape; Hataw Na 2017

Gracing the Opening of the event, Dr. Joy Fontanilla, the editor-in-chief of DiabetEase Magazine made a wonderful remarks to all of us who were present that day followed by inspiring message from Dr. Augusto Litonjua. He reminded us that the root of all these sickness, especially diabetes is from fructose... and unhealthy lifestyle like eating process foods.

The event made more enlightening with the lecture from Dr. Pepito Dela Pena about how important it is to have such exercise routine everyday for diabetic people. It was followed by The Diabetes Store and PhilHealth talks.

The second part of the event was the most await one--The Hataw na Dance Competition. The Hataw na Dance Competition is an annual event for universities and colleges to have this friendly and healthy competition which aimed in promoting healthy lifestlye as the main criteria. In-between of the dance competition were raffles and one of the sponsor was The Herbalife. Herbalife Nutrition is an international health product brand which aims to give every consumer healthy options to stay fit. I was really aiming for Herbalife products when I came here because of the healthy benefits I can have and they really work miracles in my body.

At the end of the competition,  Sibol Dance Crew from ICCT Cainta got to take home grand champion title. Followed by CEU Street Squad from Centro Escolar University and AMA Makati Dance Street from Ama Computer College Makati.

Everyone took home more than prices and good supplies of health product... and it is the priceless knowledge that health is wealth. I really have to change my lifestyle...

Among the nine groups that showcased their talents and competed for the Hataw Na grand title, Sibol Dance Crew from ICCT Cainta was named as this year’s Hataw Na grand champion, followed by CEU Street Squad from Centro Escolar University as the 1st runner-up, and AMA Makati Dance Crewfrom AMA Computer College Makati as the 2nd runner-up.

The 38th Manila International Book Fair - My BEST Kind of Wonderland

My mom was a teacher. She had taught me how to love books. I had my complete set of encyclopedias when I was in grade 2 when I assured her that I can take care of them. She had bought and given me every literature she had seen me holding wherever bookstore we went until I graduated college. I got this whole room filled with books because of my mom's support. It got me wonder why we never been in the Manila International Book Fair when I was young when it's my kind of wonderland to roam around for one bulk of books.

Years ago I discovered Manila International Book Fair. My son gets to have his perfect wonderland every year.  I let him loose and be lost in the midst of  piles of books. When You're In Love with Books - The 38th Manila International Book Fair 2017

My love for books came from my mom's fondness of reading books. Every night before we go to sleep we would read a chapter or two with side comments. I remember how my mom would have that story telling time with hand puppets in her hand... I love story telling her classes where she can portray different characters from the book. Her love of books made her a book collector... but much they say she is a book hoarder... She got this mini library at home and they ask how did she came up with that huge collection of books... Well, she is getting these books from friends but most of all from Manila International Book Fair. Believe it or not MIBF has been our play ground all these years. But this year's MIBF is awesome... We got to be part of Light Network to cover the MIBF2017 and this got I and my mom so excited on everything the book fair offered us! I got lots of things to share within the week's event and this time we have more than a handful of books...

1. The Opening Ceremony
Image may contain: 8 people, people smiling, crowd
Every Social Media's desire was to get that perfect picture of the two Filipino legends we have in our land as they graced the opening of MIBF 2017
We were very lucky to be part of the opening ceremony of The Manila International Book Fair 2017 as Bro. Armin Luistro, our former Dep Ed secretary and Dr. Boy Abunda, graced the ribbon cutting as the go signal of everyone who feels in love with books... the best buys books at the best low price were there! We were toured around level one and it was a wonderland for me. I really can't wait to roam around the place as that pungent smell of books lingers in the air...Such wonderful inspiring messages from Bro. Armin and Dr. Boy had made me realized that I can be like them someday!

The view from the top was much more lovely for me. Everyone in the crowd was very eager to see them cut the ribbons.

2. The Thank You, Teacher Corner

Taking a good teacher selfie for an awesome prize
My mom was the first teacher to come in... as the organizer of the National Teacher's Month over heard my mom talking to one of the organizer of the MIBF that she is a teacher, they had her signed, gave her a a box of cookies and cream coated biscuits and post for the day. I was so happy! I saw her everyday working so hard as a teacher and being appreciated even in just a box of chocolate made her day.

3. The Pledges for the Book Drive for the Teachers in Marawi
Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people standing
Bro. Armin Luistro opened to the public what he envisioned for the MARAWI teachers and most especially for children.
Image may contain: 3 people, people smiling, people standing
All smile for my mom. She hates books being burned and so she asked if they can be donated for a cost.
With all the chaos in Marawi for a long time now, Marawi Teacher are badly in need of books. Bro Luistro officiated the pledge where he encourage everyone in the audience and in our social media to reach out through donating books. I saw the pain in my mom's eyes. I asked her what was wrong and she said we have to do something to help the teachers. I am blessed to have a mom like her. As a teacher, for her it's not just all about her and her very low salary. She feels bad about fellow teachers in Marawi having no materials to use in their lesson. Actually, she said she wants to go to Marawi to help the teachers through craft workshop for free. I really hope the books her had brought could be a little help for the Marawi teachers.

4. My. Books at discounted Price!
No automatic alt text available.
Would believe that this new book by Justine can be bought in a discounted price? I didn't believe it too at first.
One of the requirements we have in class is a book report. I found mine and my classmates assigned books here at very low price! They even have a flash sale! As in "Oh My Gulay!" I really want to own everything and take advantage of the discounted price of every book they have in their shelves. When you're inlove with books you will really want to have all of them. too bad I only have a handful because we live in Laguna and it could be very hard for us to go home.

5. MIBF offered more than books...

My mom taking the free workshop in NBS event place.
It is a students' haven. They offer my life as a student! they got every thing I need and want their. I bought school supplies at the lowest price I ever wondered. They almost gave those school materials for free! Then they give freebies! Lots of them! They have educational games with awesome prizes. They have most of what my fellow teenagers had been eyeing as hobbies. The workshops were very awesome! I learned I lot from them! This was my first time to get that close enough to different authors with different genre. I could never imagine that I could be that close to them take there pictures... This book fair is more than what I dream of...

I had fun with my mom and I hope next year I and my mom would be here all week long of this event. Thank you very much!
