When Your Two Hands Are Not Enough... The Podee Pre-Launching Event

Remembering the days when Justin was still a baby, my milk was too much for him. He was drowning from the overwhelming amount of milk I had... And so I had my milk bottled. During the night, tucking the bottle with pillows made me realized I was endangering my son. It was in the goodness of our Lord I never suffered such tragedies other mom had suffered. Good thing modern  moms have Podee today.

Last August 6, 2016   at Thai Dusit Hotel in Makati, Podee bottles, together with Tag Media and the creative minds of Mindset Advance Training Inc. had its pre-launching event to make Podee available to Filipino within their reach. In here, we were educated to know about the safety and the amazing features of this kind of feeding bottle, which actually was invented by a Filipino.

Podee Hands Free Baby Bottle is a great solution to every mom especially the busy and on-the-go parent because there is no better hands-free option when it comes to bottle feeding a baby. This feeding bottle is a a necessity to every baby because it helps prevent colic and gas build up ear infections and re-flux. This is also an easy mean of feeding infants with challenges or have special health conditions and of course, Filipino parents like you would love to use Podee feeding bottles while babies are in riding strollers, or riding car seats or whenever they need. The simple fact that this is the best feeding bottle because it's hands-free... Everything would seen to be easy when you have Podee by your side... Both for you and your babies... This is something that would leave you a peace of mind everyday...

The following pictures are visual documentation of the event...

The venue, Thai Dusit Thani Makati was filled with parents and kids who were eager to learn about Podee Feeding Bottles... as a no hands feeding bottle.
Dr. Chao Tiao Yumol talked about how we can prevent such tragedy of infant deaths and other feeding cause problems. He mentioned that such as the positions, the feeding bottles and the parents are some of the factors we should consider most in taking good care of our babies...

A sweet Halili-Cruz school of Ballet's balerina showed her graceful talent...

One of the two balerinas who graced the stage...

From this view, you can see that everyone was on eyes to our elegant balerina from Halili-Cruz  School of Ballet.

Fresh Fruit Tartlets and Smoked Beef with Pickles and Buttered Mustard Sandwiches were served during the event.

I won a gift voucher from Halili Cruz School of Ballet, which entitles me to have an equivalent value of PHP 3, 100.

Our Official Ambassador, with her kid who grew up using Podee feeding bottles. She also demonstrated how to use the Podee bottles and how Podee helped her in taking good care of her kid. The most important thing she said is that THE BLURRY YOUR FEEDING BOTTLE, THE SAFER  BECAUSE CLEAR FEEDING BOOTLES ARE CLEAR BECAUSE OF THE CHEMICALS USED AND PRESENT TO MAKE THE FEEDING BOTTLES CLEAR... clear bottles are not safe...

Engineer Grace B. Nicholas gave us such a wonderful message to ponder before we went home.
When I get to be a mom the second time around, I know now who and what to trust. I am so thankful to learn much more than I need... thank you very much indeed.

None of this would be possible without Fern C Kids, Zoomanity Group, Tree Top Adventure and Ascento. Thank you very much!

I Dislike Drugs - A Narrative Report

The widespread  illegal drug usage and abuse reached the students' curious minds and so,  Camp Crame High School's Parents - Teachers Association, together with the Philippine National Police came up with the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign,  "I DISLIKE DRUGS" last August 3, 2016 at Camp Crame High School covered court.

As early as 6 am, everything was prepared. The sound and technical system were properly set up . The stage and the whole covered court were neatly cleaned. The chairs were arranged in such unified alignment. The students of the morning session were asked to take their recess earlier than the usual for the program has been said to start by 9am. The well behaved morning session students took their sits after they had their recess. The advisers, subject teachers and few parents with the lead of our PTA president, PSupt Ebra M Moxsir,  accompanied the students as they waited for the program to start.

The program started as soon as the honorable speakers, SPO4 Fernando Tecson Galang, D.A.R.E. Mentor International of Anti-Illegal Drug Group, came. He was with SPO3 Hercules B. Basmayor of the Community Affairs Division, PNP AIDG - ANTI ILLEGAL DRUGS GROUP, who took pictures for their anti illegal drugs campaign dissemination. They were followed by PO2 Nomer B. Macaraig of ICDD PNCO PRCG, who talked about Crime Prevention Tips and Safety

The morning master of ceremony, Mrs. Allyn Mendez, welcomed everyone. The program started with the Philippine National Anthem followed by a doxology lead by Mr. Christopher Frades of MAPEH Department. Then a wonderful welcome remarks was given by Romelita Tumaneng, Head Teacher of  TLE Department. The program would be completely started without some inspiring message from our beloved Adora B. Teano, OIC- Principal. The message was full of love for each and every student of Camp Crame High School through this campaign. Our PTA President also gave a short message not only for the students but also for the parents and teachers.

SPO4 Fernando Tecson Galang introduced himself. He said that he is very concern with the students of Camp Crame High School that he wants everyone to have a "DRUG FREE TEEN LIFE" .He talked about the different kinds of issues, need to know facts and misinformation about illegal drug usage and drug abuse. He made it a point the things like drugs and not only drugs but other things are not to blame but society who are misusing and abusing them. No one can be a victim without allowing them to do so. And so, as he repeated said, the students should say "I DISLIKE DRUGS". In addition to his lecture, addiction is a chronic relapsing brain disease in anything. It is not only applicable to illegal drugs but also to everything one can misuse and abuse like internet, and food. One must be aware of the drugs and illegal drugs and so he gave all the list of  commonly abused drugs and descriptions; horrible physical, mental and intellectual effects; the faces of drug abuse; the terrible withdrawal symptoms; the kinds and descriptions of pharmacological classification of drugs; the republic acts and punishments of illegal drug marketing and abuse. SPO4 Galang closed his morning session talk with making everyone remember to dislike drugs.

An intermission song number, "May Bukas Pa" was given by Marky Impuerto. He was featured in Jessica Soho's show in GMA 7. He was followed by PO1 Magalang, the official mascot of Anti Illegal Drugs Campaign. PO1 gave us a great dance number. The two intermission numbers showed the students that through dancing and singing and through watching such wonderful presentations like this one can release dopamine which is said to be the happy hormone. One doesn't need to use drugs to be happy.

The next speaker, PO2 Nomer B. Macaraig gave a good pep talk about Crime Prevention Tips. He talked about the different kinds of crimes and one of them is BULLYING, which is a very alarming and worrisome not only for the students but for everyone else. Educating the students that bullying is a crime, gave everyone an idea that no one should be a victim. One can refuse violence. One can call incase of any crime for Hoping Everyone Likes Pancakes (HELP) through 09178475757. Everyone is entitled for  a safe and peaceful society.

The afternoon students were gathered at the covered court by 12:30pm. With the master of ceremony, Julie Anne Vital, everyone was welcomed warmly. With the same love Mr.s Romelita Tumaneng gave a welcome remarks and a short gesture of concern through message from Mrs. Adora Teano.

The afternoon session also had their  special dose of eye opening education about anti-illegal drug campaign and crime prevention and safety tips with the same speakers. This time PO2 Nomer B. Macaraig of crime prevention and safety tips came first before SPO4 Fernando Tecson Galang of  anti-illegal drugs campaign. The speaker were given certificates of appreciation.   The closing remarks of the program by PSupt Ebra M. Moxsir was made awesome through the answer and question portion with some little tokens for each right answer.

All in all, the Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign, "I DISLIKE DRUGS" was a huge success. It made everyone think deep and had fun at the same time. Everyone is looking forward for such great changes and huge impact of preventing drugs and crime, which started after one big day of education.

The following photos were attached for visual documentation:

The day all that Camp Crame High School students made a huge promise for a better life.

Magnificent look of clean covered court of Camp Crame High School for the day's event of "I DISLIKE DRUGS".

Mrs. Allyn Mendez, the Master of Ceremony, welcomed everyone. She made a perfect assurance to the students that the campaign was for the good of everyone.

The morning session students in their most solemn time. Thanks God for everything they have today.

All students from the afternoon session rose in unison for the National Anthem and doxology which was led by Mr. Christopher Fradez of the MAPEH Department.

Morning Session Students from Grade 7 and 10 gave a big dislike gestures as they all out loud shouted
"I DISLIKE DRUGS".  This is a promise of forever of disliking drugs.

These supportive parents joined our campaign because this is how much they love their children. They also wanted to be educated on how they can prevent everyone in the family to be victims of illegal drug usages and abuses and crimes too. The safety of the future leaders of our country starts within the family... within the school... within the well educated minds, who will put this into action.

These boys were made to promise that they will dislike drugs forever.

SPO4 Fernando Tecson Galang as one of the finest speakers of Anti-Illegal Drugs  Campaign gave us more than the students needed to know - THE FUTURE LEADERS OF OUR COUNTRY WILL BE COMING FROM
CAMP CRAME HIGH.
PO2 Nomer Macaraig talked about "The Crime Prevention and Safety Tips". He made a point that there is always a HELP for everyone and  one of them is by calling 09178475757.
With such great energy, SPO4 Fernando Tescon Galang talked about everything the students need to know... Even the most gruesome and horrible sides of the world of illegal drugs side effects and drug abuse and illegal drug marketing.

Camp Crame High School's  Parents and Teachers joined force to battle illegal drugs and crime.
Our beloved Officer in Charge Principal, Mrs. Adora Teano, gave a short message of love. She loves us this much that she wanted everyone to be well educated to dislike drugs and stop crime.
The question of "What can you do as a student to prevent crime? PO2 Macaraig made it a point the they can do something to prevent crime like bullying.
The Penalty for this kind of crime is very huge to the extend that the students would not  want to be part of it.
A student was taking down notes for his own reminders of disliking drugs and crime...
And the Official Mascot of Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign, PO1. MAGALANG, gave her best moves in hip hop dancing. Dancing and singing are just two of the things you can do to be happy. Other than these, we have sports like basketball and volleyball and more...
A student took part in answering the question, which worth a one day "baon". Of course they had fun!

Well behaved students listened attentively to our speaker as he talked about what we can do to make everyone safe everyday.
Jamaica Tiqiuo of Grade 8 Section Faith as she answered the question of PO2 Nomer Macaraig for crime prevention and safety tips.
All smile as our dear speaker spoke in a manner of reaching their understanding. Drug abuse and crime tips are really very sensitive issues but the speakers made them easy for them. The levels of communication that they have used were very clear yet fun to listen and understand.
The amount of happiness of appreciating people who would always be there to help us is priceless.
Some of the teaching and non-teaching staff who had supported today's event.

Here are just two of Camp Crame High School's brilliant minds, who brought to us "I DISLIKE DRUGS".
Mr.s Adora Teano - OIC Principal and PSupt. Ebra M Moxsir - PTA President.
