My Mom's Peculiarity - The Sugar Skull Inspired Make Up

The day of the dead for me is the most interesting holiday for me. We choose to celebrate this more than any other day. Remembering those we loved most who are already with God and spending all that day with them in the cemetery is always been fun with my mom. Every Halloween mom do certain make ups. Me as a kid I always love every look she does every year. This year she chose to do a sugar skull make-up.

What is SUGAR SKULL?

I asked my mom why did she chose to have a sugar skull make up to scare the kids at the cemetery.
Well, she said this is originated from Mexico where they believe that on October 31 the gates of heaven would opened to have those little to be united with their loved ones and by November 2 the spirits of the adults will have their time to feast on the living's fiesta buffet had prepared.

sugar skull was first known in the 17th century where the Mexican were said can not afford to buy imported sweets but have that huge production of local sugar in town. And so the friars taught the people how to do this laborious intensively made skull molded from clay and everyone made this kind of sweets personalized as my mom did on her face :)

So this is her transformation...

And with that just plain hair...
Same sugar skull inspired make up with different hairstyle really made a huge difference in looks...

That Gorgeous Beach - Porto Laiya

I am blessed!
This was the first time I and my mom got invited to hit the beach and be amazed of what our God has created...
Porto Laiya...
We almost own the whole area of Porto Beach... as if the place has not been discovered yet by the beach lovers in our country... definitely such a lovely place to be one with nature.
The white sand the sparkles like gems as I ran along the seashore was an awesome thing!
The blue salty water shone as the sun reflects on it...
The sea creatures by the and seashore are captivating even for a teen like me. The sea weeds are creepy but I love them as they tickle my skin.
I had the whole day spent discovering the whole place and it was not enough!

As for my mom! She enjoyed hitting the pool and having as much selfies she could have in all the place she could walk there... In there no one judged her in how big she is as of the all the people their mind thier own business of having fun of what this gorgeous beach is offering everyone...

As so here are some pictures to see how beautiful Porto Laiya is... I really hope you could have the same happiness I had there...
